I work with people who often seem fine on the outside but feel trapped in their own minds. Together, we start to slow things down and make sense of what’s really been happening underneath the worry.
You’ll begin to understand the patterns that keep anxiety going – the overthinking, the pressure to please everyone, the fear of getting it wrong. We also look at how anxiety shows up in the body – the racing heart, the tight chest, the constant edge of tension – and how to calm those physical responses so you can stop running on survival mode and actually start enjoying life again.
As the noise of anxiety fades, you begin to reconnect with something quieter inside – a sense of calm that’s always been there, waiting to be remembered. From there, life begins to feel more open, less like something you have to manage.
Rather than focusing only on analysing the past or trying to correct thoughts and behaviours, this work helps you build a different kind of awareness – one that allows you to observe what’s happening without being pulled into it.
When you start to see your experience from that clearer place, the thoughts and feelings that once felt overwhelming begin to lose their grip. You regain a sense of ease and choice in how you respond. This isn’t about learning to live with anxiety – it’s about no longer being driven by it.
From there, change starts to feel real and lasting, showing up naturally in how you think, feel, and relate to the world around you.
I understand what it’s like to feel completely consumed by your mind.
For years, I lived in the relentless cycle of anxiety – working in a stressful office job I hated, feeling trapped in an unfulfilling relationship and suffocated by the pressure of keeping up with what everyone else around me was doing, constantly feeling like a failure and not being able to see a way out. Eventually, it all became too heavy to carry.
I reached a point where I knew I couldn’t keep managing it alone and decided to seek help.
Starting therapy was one of the hardest and most transformative decisions I’ve ever made. Through working with a mindfulness-based counsellor, I began to rebuild from the inside out – learning to slow down, understand my patterns, and reconnect with the parts of me I’d lost along the way.
That experience changed everything, and it’s what led me to train as a therapist myself.
Now, through my private practice, I help others do the same – combining my personal experience with professional training and clinical expertise to support people in finding calm, clarity, and self-trust again.
I’d love to support you as you start to make space for the change you’ve been longing for.
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, along with a Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies and a Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.
Additionally, I am accredited with a Level 2 APT certificate in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I have experience of working for Dads Unlimited, a charity that offers family separation support for males, as well as support for male survivors of sexual abuse.
I also have experience as a Cruse Bereavement volunteer, where I offered in-the-moment support through their helpline for those struggling with grief and loss.
I’ve worked with SHOUT, providing chat-based support for people facing challenges with their mental health.
Along with my counselling qualifications and experience, I am also a certified mindfulness meditation teacher, and I am passionate about helping clients integrate mindfulness into their daily lives, in whichever way works for them.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck and want support from someone who’s both professional and human, I’m here.
I offer a free, no-obligation consultation where we can talk about what’s going on and how I can help.
You don’t have to have everything figured out before getting in contact, just taking that first step is enough. We can figure out the rest together.
